Good morning

It has been raining in the night. Was going to finish painting the fence but it will have to wait for another day. It is the panels behind and at the side of the shed. It is still hot and humid.

So will potter inside.

Have a good day

Morning both, morning everyone :)

Poooh Ally, peg on nose time ;)

Plenty of dry weather yet to come Cruiser, the painting will wait :)

Well we had rain last evening, and in the night, but it's still pretty warm.....Mick and I are off to Morrisons later this morning, I was thinking of a BBQ later but it might rain so maybe a chicken salad indoors instead ;) B enjoyed meeting her doggie clients yesterday so will be minding them for two weeks now at the end of August :) H messaged to say he had a party last night and a footie game today, so he's also having a good weekend :)

Enjoy your Sunday everyone :) xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Morning all :)
No rain here yet, but today is so far quite cloudy, think maybe some showers forecast.

Hope Jacob's enjoyed it Ally, and at least you know the washing will dry :D
Glad B enjoyed meeting the doggies Kaz, and presumably you'll still see her during her fortnight :)
Enjoy your potter cruiser :)

Nothing much doing here, a bit of shopping later if I feel like it, otherwise will send Bb ;)
Have a good day all

Morning all, the rain is just starting to slow down here so rather than walking Billy I'm sitting in the kitchen drinking coffee, checking the online bank account and transferring some money. Such fun!

No real plans for today. Tom's going to M's shortly so it looks like just three of us for dinner and if it stops raining John and Joe are going a bike ride later. John's out over the Chase now so will no doubt come home soaking wet and muddy (I've long since refused to wash his biking stuff - it's his job!!).

Going to roast a chicken for dinner and serve it with salad and home made wedges.

Have a good day all!

Morning all. Much cooler here after heavy rain through the night but its dry and brightening up.

Had a fab day yesterday at our friends bbq. Bouncy castle, paddling pool, games (enormous Jenga, enormous Connect 4, etc), lots of lovely food and lovely people. We even had our own entertainment. A man was staying at the hotel who was playing a gig last night and Mel invited him to the bbq and asked him to sing. He was brilliant. Can't remember who he was - he was a comedy act and called himself the son of Val Doonican. He had written his own lyrics to well known songs and he was hilarious. He played for a good couple of hours.

Lazy day today. Girls have gone off to the panto rehearsal (its next weekend and my friend, who is playing the lead role, says they haven't rehearsed the ending yet, let alone had a full run through). I am going to make blackcurrant jam and cordial and am going to give my utility room a good clean.

I am very embarrassed about the window in there. It has a bamboo blind that hasn't been opened in a very long time and I know that the dust and cobwebs behind it will be horrific. We have someone coming to repair and paint the back windows this week so I am determined to clean the windows before he comes!
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!
