I had a long lie this morning, woke at 10am as Amy had a sleepover with my niece Had a text and email from Royal Mail saying they are going to attempt to deliver a parcel today so I am staying in and my niece is going to bring Amy over soon - parcel will be my new Cath Kidston bag I ordered online in the sale

Think we will go a walk and stop at a park as it looks lovely outside today.

We had a lovely day yesterday, the film was very funny. Afterwards we dropped a pile of paperwork off at the solicitor before going out for what was supposed to be a late lunch and ended up being an early dinner. Another form to fill in today, as promised the letter from the agent in Kent dropped on the mat a little while ago. Now just need to arrange the survey and hope the search doesn't bring up anything untoward. Like loz we'll need to do a bit of measuring, the thing about downsizing is working out what furniture can/can't be fitted in, for sure we've got too many beds. Won't be worrying about that until exchange though, too far to traipse and besides don't want to jump the gun.

No real plans today, waiting in for a delivery which is scheduled to arrive between 12-1 and then need to pop down the road for fresh veggies/salad.

Afternoon all, it's a lovely day here - some clouds but it's nice and warm. We went to our kitchen supplier this morning and chose our units, worktop etc. which was fun. We were there for two hours, and although they suggested we go and have a look at some appliances, we felt our brains would be fried if we did that, so we came back home and treated ourselves to a nice lunch out. Just about to defuzz my legs, and then take it easy this evening. Everything is more or less ready for packing which will be done tomorrow morning. Enjoy the rest of the day everyone
