Just a swim this morning as I'm going into school again at 9.30 - I want to see the students that were there on Monday and check their homework. Oh I am cruel.

Morning all,

Work for me til just after 2pm, then get my nails done and then home to cook dinner. I'm supposed to be out with a friend tonight but I think she's going to cry off so I might go to the allotment instead.

Bright and breezy here - and the weather's similar

Bb's taken the car in for a service & oil change, worked out nicely as it's near the town and he's working nearby enough. Towels are in the wash. A bit of light gardening for me this morning, some deadheading and stuff (my two bargain buddleias are flowering like crazy!).

No news on the car either - think I'll start worrying about it on Friday But we know what we'll go for next time, st least that's kept him occupied looking at different cars in t'interweb

Hubby now on antibiotics too now, Sasha starting to feel better after a couple of days on hers, Oliver and I keep soldering on.

The wind is dropping bit this storm isn't passing till the morning. Sounds like northland has been hit hard, with concert power poles being snapped in to, just with wind. Tress down, roofs off, flooding, power out etc etc. should like it's going to be quite a job getting the power back on to people due the extent of the damage.

Our playhouse is still standing, the boys have built it well.

The weather looks promising here, but we won't be going out as we are expecting delivery
of an air conditioner. We already have one in the bedroom but we need another on in our
living room, as Mrs A suffers so much pain when it gets too warm.
