Tom spoke to someone on the phone first last night but tbh we couldn't give them much soecific info - we didnt know the lads nor where they lived, Tom had asked their address at the scene but he forgot it as soon as they told him so that by the time the policeman called round to ask more details we really couldn't give him anything concrete Sadly I don't think they'll be able to take it further as we were so vague, they did go round to an address Tom thought it was, he thinks he has seen these lads come out of a house there but no idea if they have been visiting or lived there I think we'll know them if we spotted them again though, and they'll deffo know Tom again!!

Oh Gal how horrible! That's my worst nightmare, and the reason I won't walk down a lot of streets. I really hope they find and destroy those dogs, IMO there is no place in society for dogs like those.

What an awful thing to have happened to you all Gal ((((((((((((((((Gal & Tom)))))))))))))))) I would have been in bits. I do hope the boys can be found as this will surely happen again

It is a huge worry when two strong dogs like that are in the care of people who obviously cannot control them.

And the sad thing is the dogs are a product of their upbringing - the people who own them shouldn't be allowed to have dogs at all because chances are whatever dog they get next (and I'm sure they will) will be equally aggressive; it may not be a staffie or any other 'dangerous' breed, but still - unless brought up properly any dog can become aggressive; and it's always the poor dogs that loose out. As much as I don't like it - I agree that these two dogs should be PTS because if they've attacked once then they'll do it again.

Gal, I'm glad that things didn't turn out as bad as they could have, and that you and Tegan soon recover 100% (((hug))) to you and a gentle cuddle for Tegan

Aw thanks all, we'll be attending the PACT meeting tomorrow so hopefully might get some more information.

Been and got a tetanus jab this morning, nurse was shocked when I told her, and she saw, the evidence of the bite She's a local girl so when I mentioned the meeting, and the story, she said "Yes definitely go to the meeting, the community officer will know those lads". No need for ABs atm unless the 'wound' changes and then I need to return asap.

OMG Gal that is awful, how scary for you and Tom, and your dogs.

I get so angry when things like this happen, those stupid boys, as you say if you had a child with you, it could have been a lot worse, or even if you were alone.

We live next to a huge park and a woman walks her 2 dogs, about 6 months ago, she let the dogs out her car and the big one - about the size of a doberman, came running up to Amy barking and showing its teeth - it scared the living daylights out of her - the woman got her dog and asked if Amy was ok - well no she wasn't and she is still terrified to this day.

Makes me mad.

Hopefully you can find out who this pair are and the dogs can be destroyed.

Poll, my Joe was terrified of dogs after a neighbour's Boxer ran out of the house when we were passing one day and jumped up him, he'd be around 8 or 9 at the time and it really shook him up, especially with it being a big dog and him being small. It put him off dogs and when we moved here the quickest way to walk to school was through the woods and of course there'd be dogs getting walked and on quite a few occasions he'd have one jump up at him and we'd have to stop and wait until he'd calmed down before carrying on to school.
I let Billy off his lead when we walk over the common and woods but the moment I see anyone else and/or another dog he's back on his lead. IT annoys me though that other people don't do the same.

It took a few months of Billy living here for Joe to get used to him and be fully comfortable around him, you could tell that there was still some fear there.
