Morning all - well a good afternoon to Ally alreayd :)

Usual work day for me today. These past few days just seem to have flown by and I don't know where the time has gone. Thankfully this week is a lot quieter with nothing planned in the evenings so hopefully with work a bit quieter and the evenings quieter I'll be able to pop on here more regularly.

Rather windy and cool here today as well; but the garden can do with a bit of rain. I keep watching the forecast for this coming weekend as I'm off to the Hampton Court Flower Show on Saturday and every time I look the forecast is different :) As long as it doesn't rain; that's all I'm hoping for

Have a good day everyone else x

Blowing a howling gale tonight. Bit of luck the old oak tree will blow over, but it doubt it. One can only hope, it's on council land and they won't trim it, and it blocks our sun in the winter. Forecast for gusting to 120 km/h
Might not get much sleep tonight.
Oh that was a good gust. :? Nothing like hearing the house creak and the wind howls.

Missy's earache seems to be a lot better today, thankfully.
Little buddy however now has a runny nose. so no doubt he's off down this road now.

Meh that gust wasn't as strong.
Everything happens for a reason

Ooh you're nearly gone now Osc :)
Shame about the house but just put it out of your mind for your holiday xx
Weka that is strong  Hope you don't lose anything you'd rather not x

It started to rain soon after we'd decided to drive back through Beaulieu and stop for a coffee there :?
Not so bad as we got there so we went to the nice garden centre - it has a lot of indoor stuff. Bb bought me a bar of Divine dark chocolate with raspberries for being a brave girl - well, I don't like lollipops :D
Decided not to bother with the coffee though, it was a bit busy, so he's just made us one here :)

And we did see a nice lot of ponies and a couple of tiny foals - and thankfully not too near the string of them that raced across the road ahead of us, that can be scary!

Good afternoon all, it's been a lovely morning - very warm and sunny - but it's just started to rain now. At least one of my loads of washing has dried!

After the gym I took Billy for a walk and we went a different way, ending up at the pool. He was playing in the reeds and then stood looking in the water so I took a photo to send to John and was glancing down at my phone to email it to him when I heard a splash, I looked up and saw Billy swimming back to shore :P This is the dog who walks around puddles and turns around and walks in the direction of home if it starts raining when we're out but he can't resist that pool

Tom and M arrived home around 1pm. School has, yet again, been cancelled for Sixth Form. It'd be nice if they let them know - especially today when I went upstairs at 7.50am and found Tom still fast asleep in bed, 10 minutes before his bus was due. There are nice spicy cooking smells drifting up from the kitchen as they're making lunch.

Have a good day everyone!

That choccy sounds nice Di :) (((((x)))))

Osc, not long now! :D

Jo they cancel a moment's notice, yet fine parents for unauthorised absence - hardly fair

Becky had an appointment at the doctor's, a new patient appointment! She isn't new as such, but had unregistered to register with a practice in Bristol for the year she was there, so they still wanted her to have this check-up - despite her having had one two years ago when we first moved here   Funnily enough her health was pretty much the same as last time, but some good news is that she hadn't put on as much weight as she'd feared (our scales are kaput again) so all was sunny as we walked into town afterwards   Things continued well as I got some L'Air du Temps perfume for half price in Savers - one of my faves but the discount perfume shop in the Quays has closed and I was loath to pay full price :D Then we went for a drink and sit down, and then were going to walk home but the heavens opened and it bucketed, so we ran for the bus
