Really enjoying this two part documentary (second part tomorrow) as it follows student teams and how they get to qualify to take part in the competition.

I've loved University Challenge for as long as I can remember.

I haven't watched it for years! I have bad memories of having to stay absolutely silent while my sister watched it when I was very young and I've resented the show ever since

We often watch it, and have done so for years - from the days when Bamber Gascoigne was in charge.

My mate Lee used to say the only thing he'd get right would be his name at the start.

But then this is the lad who, when filling in a form and it said sex M or F - he wrote yes please!
