Good Morning Monday

Postby Dippytrout » 06 Jul 2014, 22:08

Yes realise its a bit early/late but never seem to make the morning thread so as here we are all laying around dripping thought might as well start it off, One am here so that constitutes as morning,,,,,,,,,, does it not :?:

I shall spend the day reclining on my swingy thing on the terrace (can't go anywhere) have a couple of books to finish and really need to cook some food as am living on scraps at the moment (only because its to hot to cook, and have no real interest in food at the moment) but needs must and have to eat at some point. Where is TK whe you need him (fishing, of course) :!:

So have a great day all :)

Take care

I also cannot sleep. Too much snoozing during the day!

I have to be up in five and a half hours. Sigh.

No work for me tomorrow as I have to take L to the fracture clinic to see if it is fractured. She is still finding it very painful so that doesn't bode well.

Hopefully a trip to the allotment then home for a bath (another one - I had 3 baths and 2 showers today, being in water made my hangover better) and an early night. Mick is away so I will be able to sprawl out.

Good morning. :D

It's normal o'clock here...that is 7.30am.

I'm just going to cut and paste my weather report for the next few months - scorchio. 8-) 8-) 8-)

An early swim for me as I'm meeting Boss Lady at 9.15.

She has students from 9.30 - 1pm who want some extra lessons (talk about keen!) and as they'll be my new students in September I'm going up to meet them and sit in on the class. :D

They're A level (well, the Spanish equivalent) so this is all new to me. :D :D

As I'm reading a great book I can't wait to get back and carry on with it - this will be done in the shade in the garden.

Have a smashing day everyone. :D

Morning all
Was awake most of the night last night rocking Sasha who was howling with pain with ear ache. It had settled down by the morning, thanks to my onion trick. She's been sick for a week, so we went to the doctor, and got a locum, so came home with antibiotics. :D our usual doctor was sick herself, and she won't give antibiotics for earache. Sasha's been in pain on and off all day, but is looking a bit happier tonight. Fingers crossed she (and therefore me) sleeps well tonight.

Morning everyone :)

We didn't get to sleep until quite late either - more in law stuff, will post on the Family board later - and then I had really weird dreams so I don't feel very rested :? Cheltenham today as well, to give B moral support at the dentists, as she has the prep for a crown :?

Good Morning Dippy  :D

Ally good luck with your meeting, exciting stuff!! :D 8-)

Ton I hope the noisy neighbours calm down a bit! :? I grew up sooooo close to Heathrow, I still don't 'hear' aircraft noise as I'm so used to it

Debih I hope it goes well for L and it isn't broken after all ((((x))))

Have a good day everyone :) xxxx

What's the onion trick Weka?

Did you put one in her ear? Did you threaten her that if she didn't stop crying she would to eat one raw? Do you dance around it three times when the moon is full?

Morning all :D

Oh weka poor Sasha, earache is horrendous, hope the antibees kick in soon and you all get a good nights sleep x

Good luck at the fracture clinic debih x

We were up early, well for us anyway lol, I needed to wash my hair and pop round for the papers, a chap is coming round to do the valuation stuff for our buyers sometime between 11-3. Started filling in all the forms for our solicitor yesterday, can't answer all the questions even though I've got the deeds to check everything out, why oh why can't these things be done in plain English :? I'll give her a ring later this morning and see if I can leave the bits I'm not sure about blank for her to fill in, after all if she can't understand the docs her firm produced when we moved in nobody can!! Also need to phone the agent in Birchington to give them the rest of our details, solicitors address etc etc. He's already spoken to our agent here to check we were being honest about our sale..........makes you wonder how many people tell big fat porkies.........which saves time. Everyone's working to an exchange in 6/8 weeks time subject to survey/searches so instead of feeling it could take ages and there's no rush, we suddenly feel there's not much time to get everything sorted here. Don't like to think how much stuff we've stored in the loft :o

Hope you all have a good day :D
