My dilemma is solved - B and I are going to walk the dogs up there, she'll wait outside with them They are still a bit damp from their baths so it will dry them off
Hope it wasn't windy - they'll be having bad hair days
Grrrr! Tried calling John to see what time he'd be back because he'd said around 6pm but always let's me know but it went to voicemail and we're waiting for him so that we can have dinner. He's just texted me to say that it'll be around 8.30. So they saw the race around 3, cycled 16 miles back to the car which takes about an hour...and according to his Strava on Facebook they ended up just south of Macclesfield which is an hour away... He can have toast.
No it wasn't windy, it was sunny and hot, but just after we got back the heavens opened and B and I only just got the washing in in time The pups are nice and floofy
Ha! And now one of his friends who was up there but positioned to see the race an hour later than them has posted on Facebook that he was home at 6.10... Methinks someone's had a sneaky longer ride.
I wish Saundra! I'm slaving over a hot stove and I still need to take Billy for his last walk of the day!

Well as those of you on FB have seen, we got drowned whilst out with our dogs We'd left the house in warm sunshine, after a lovely trip into Durham where we had a spot of lunch and then decided to go and have a drink in one of the riverside pubs. It was glorious, really lovely. Got back and changed, five minutes into the walk, bam! Soaked.
