I would go for the latter option, you don't need the stress, and as you say fish and chips will make the girls happy. Just tell L and S that it is cancelled due to their Dad being ill, and their uncle not being there, and I am sure they will accept that ((((((((((((((((((x)))))))))))))))))))))

We're going.

S arrived home from school and her little face fell when I said I wasn't sure if we were going or not and explained why. She was so disappointed and then said that L would be too as she had made loom bands for cousin.

So we're going. I'm not happy about going but I will go.

I have a bottle of sparkly and a very nice bottle of red at home so one of those will get opened when I get home! I think I'll both need and deserve it!!!

Fair play to you for going Debih.

Grin and bear it - your girls are happy going and that means alot.

Just let all the yada yada talk go over your head and just imagine that big fat drink when you get home!

Words fail me - apart from very rude ones, which I know I'd be banned for life for saying.

Well done you for going - I wouldn't - I'd have just sent the girls, as M was ill and needed looking after.

Looking forward to heaing all about it later ;)

If it's any consolation, on Sunday they will be leaving your summer to come home to cold windy weather and depending on where they live, snow too. We've had the first of the season.

Ask her how she stands the shopping here and the lack of variety. And no, the warehouse and farmers do not provide variety.  .
I can't believe how rude they are being!
