I hope there's no fracture Debih. Two or three months in plaster would be no fun for the poor little girl. Best to be safe than sorry though. Mr PP fractured a little bone in his wrist hand cranking his brother's old banger when he was in his 20s, took the plaster off far too soon, and suffers to this day when the weather is damp.

There are lots of bees in my garden Lozzles and I'm glad to see them considering the news about how endangered they are. My main problem is trying to stop the cats from catching them. Not only one bee less in the population but a very sore mouth for the cat.

We have lots of bees too, especially all over the Abelia and the myrtle-type thingy which is smothered in white flowers and with its dark leaves looks like a Christmas tree with lights on :D

Glad I went next door, some lovely gossip :D
This is the blue car side, gorgeous girl with two children. She's been on her own for 7 years but met someone a few months ago, and he's moving in next week :D

Afternoon all, I've had a very busy couple of days so haven't been around much. On Wednesday, Mr. Osc was playing golf in Co. Wicklow with SIL and a friend home from Dubai, so I was collecting Michael from the summer project and bringing him to Wicklow, Miss Osc was travelling there after work, and we were all meeting up for dinner at the resort hotel - Miss Osc et al were staying the night. That was fine, dinner was ok (service was terrible  ) During dinner, the prospect was raised of Mr. Osc playing golf again yesterday and it was suggested that we stay the night - well that wasn't on, we had nothing with us so we drove home. Then up again at 7am yesterday, back down to Wicklow (an hour's drive). I treated myself to brekkie in the hotel ;) Miss Osc went to work and I hung around as SIL wanted Michael to play the first few holes with the men, after which I was bringing Michael back here, taking him to the summer project at 2.15pm and then he would stay here until after his tea in normal Thursday manner. The drive home was soooooooooo hot in the car - he slept all the way back which was fine, by the time I got home the back of my teeshirt was wet through. While M was out, I had some printing, scanning and emailing to do in connection with the appointment of our builder.

So I'm very glad of a quietish day at home today, pottering around doing stuff for our holiday. We had a lot of rain early this morning, but for most of the day it has just been dull but still warm. Miss Osc texted me this morning to say that Michael had a high temperature and was vomiting :( poor little thing - probably a bug (hopefully). Hopefully he is improving as the day has gone on. He is coming here for a sleepover tomorrow night as Mummy and Daddy are going to a wedding - might be one of his last sleepovers in this house :o

Hope everyone is having a good day :)

Oh Debih I hope it's a false alarm :? Poor kid to have a plaster on over the summer :?

You are a lovely grandma Saundra, I'm glad Lily's mum is doing so well at uni 8-) :) xx

Di those are good jobs to get ticked off the list while the weather is still dry, weekend forecast isn't brill :? There is always anther day for hoovering :P ;) The gossip sounded fun too :D

Osc I hope Michael will be ok for his sleepover (((((((((x))))))))

Well we went out for lunch, but only after 'words' (I had the words, he listened!) because he answered his flipping work phone when it rang   What part of having a day off does that man not get? :ugeek: :| No need to answer it, there are other people doing his job when he's away, and he did mark his status as on leave so they were being thick calling in the first place :| :x Ho hum.........

Lunch was nice though, he had a turkey, cranberry and brie club and I had a cheese and spring onion pannini but we cut them both in two, and had half of one each - so détente was reached and a peace pact forged! ;)

Then he left to pick up Harry, and I walked up into town, dropped my rings into Samuels to get them dipped - they have been making my fingers react lately, and apparently white gold needs redipping every few years. My rings are 10 years old and not been done before :?  Then I bought Becky a new bag, putting it away towards her birthday next month, only a casual fabric shoulder bag but Ollie & Nic and very pretty :) A bargain as the shop is closing in two days time......

Afternoon all - so sorry not been around much, just RL stuff getting in the way

I met Tom in Darlington this morning for coffee and cake, he went back to work afterwards and I had a mooch, bought a couple of things in Primark and also Wilkinsons, turned a corner and went my length on the pavement full of busy shoppers       Bag went flying, complete with newly purchased glass scented candle, which was my biggest regret - luckily was wearing white trousers and was on my way back to my car, but still, the embarrassment!!  Then because I had passed one set of lights en route to town I decided to go back another route, and they have changed the road layout so I got lost and had to retrace my tracks   I don't have the best sense of direction to start with, and me not having a panic attack at this point is a major achievement :D :D I'm much safer and out of harm's way when I'm at work.....

Last night we took Lewis swimming, so proud as he is LOADS more confident in the water now, he has no swimming aids on at all and was in the big pool with us, lying on his back with no help to keep him up, and almost-but-not-quite swimming proper :D :D And he has discovered that jumping in makes the biggest splash so was doing that all the more    Afterwards we went to MaccyDs for tea....

Damp and mizzly here today now after a fine-ish start.....typical when I have tons of washing to get dry :|

Hope everyone is ok, glad you and the mister have sorted things Kaz xx

Well! I am not as candle-less as I thought :D I wash out and keep the glasses after the candle is done, and as this was smashed, the candle itself was easy to remove and replace in a washed glass :D :D

Lewis is a joy! He makes us laugh all the time, last night his favourite phrase was "No way, Ho-Say"  No idea where he got it from but it was so funny :D 8-)

Oh you poor thing Gal, it is such an embarrassment isn't it - I'm sure if most of us broke a leg we'd somehow get up and say we're fine  :)

Hope Michaels' ok tomorrow Osc, it usually only lasts a day or so doesn't it x
Glad you shared your lunch Kaz, always a good sign :) x

Ps Yes funny Gal, I love that age too :D
