Morning all. Lovely morning.

Work for me this morning and then I'm off to meet a friend for lunch.

And then maybe, just maybe were seeing SIL and family tonight! Though there's plenty of time for her to arrange something else between now and 6pm. It took me ringing MIL to ask if we were likely to see them before their party on Saturday. SIL rang me not long after I rang MIL. I've also pushed for her to arrange a family meal out on Friday as I know MIL and FIL would really like that.

Morning Kate and Debih - morning everyone :)

Oh dear Kate, we have only just started letting the dogs have the run of downstairs again whilst we are out, instead of confined to the kitchen. So far so good 8-) ;)

Glad you have something sorted with the inlaws Debih, for the girls' sakes xxxxxx

We have blazing sunshine and a blue cloudless sky 8-) My kind of day :D We are up early as Mick has an early meeting in Bristol, tonight Becks is off to Oxfordshire to another pet sitting job, she'll be away until Sunday.....

I got back the deposit I put down on B's student accommodation last year - they sent me a cheque, although why they couldn't just make it a transfer straight back into my account I don't know as that's how I paid it in the first place...... I wasn't going out today, I was going to have a lazy one as I'm a bit tired, but if I don't pay it in today it won't clear until next week

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

What colour are you going for Saundra? Good morning, by the way :D

I know, I should just be grateful I got the money back really, but I resent them sitting on my money longer than necessary, and getting the interest. I expect with the thousands of students Unite deal with they make a fair whack that way  They did deduct £40 of it though, £10 for a mark in the communal living room that nobody owned up to so they split the costs (fair enough I suppose) and £30 for blu tack marks on her room walls which I am cross about as she didn't put anything up on her walls at all  :( No point arguing with them though, for the sake of £30 at least I got most of it.............. :? :|

Good morning. :D

It's July - which means it's hotter than June. 8-) 8-)

Seems to be a pet themed thread this morning - I've just spent the last hour consoling my friend as when I was out running I found her cat dead on the path. :( :( :( :(

She is so upset. :(

I'll have a swim after a coffee and then pop back and see her.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :)
Ok here, cloudy but dry, we have a cool/chilly wind too.

Poor friend Ally, it is upsetting x
Glad you got almost all the money back anyway Kaz :)
Debih hope it goes to plan, glad something's being arranged even if you had to push it.
Happy painting Saundra, Bb's not working till this afternoon so we're planning a bit of gardening.
Hope everyone has a good day
