amazing day at BBC

Postby pollR78 » 28 Jun 2014, 21:29

wow, me and Amy have had the most AMAZING day today.....got the train through to Glasgow as we had tickets (free) to be in the audience of a CBBC (Childrens bbc) programme being filmed 'the dog ate my homework'.

Well it was just brilliant, got started at nearly 4pm and got out just after 7, so quite a long time but was brilliant to see how it all happened!

Amy loved it, so did I :D :D :D

Been a long day as bus into Edinburgh and then train to Glasgow and vice versa on the way home, lazy day tomorrow. :D

Aww always great to be in the audience for a tv show! When Miss Osc was little Crackerjack came to Dublin, I was away so she went with Mr. Osc and I'm not quite sure who had the better fun   She would have been a similar age to Amy at the time.

Aw fabulous Poll :D :D :D

When my niece worked for the BBC last year she was doing some production assistant work for a children's programme in Scotland for a while, but I don't know which one :? :D

So now we have got two TV stars.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Once went to the BBC TV studios in London soon after the first Dr Who series had ended. Was shown one of the Daleks and told they may be scrapped. I could have probably taken one home but they wouldn't fit in my car- a Mini.
