Morning Loz et al and good luck with the finger joints. I really should have my "rugger" one done with a pyro carbon thingy but does it have to be bandaged for two months? I hate the idea of not being able to drive, my knee was fine after only a few days , the finger is not painful but makes handwriting very awkward. Still raining here but only light, have a nice day everyone.

I'm sending you a hug Ally, not wanting to get too close ;)

As Kate said, rest and lots of fluids and hope it soon goes away xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Good morning, all.

Just back from a lovely walk in the park. It's sunny and dry here for a change.

Ally - sorry to hear you succumbed to that wretched bug. Hope you soon get over it.

Hope all others with problems get better soon.

Have a good day.

I'm glad your walk was sunny and dry Aggers. I took Jasper over the fields and boy was it muddy  All praise to the man who invented wellybobs
Jasper loved it though and is absolutely covered in mud. I think I will have to bath him later.

Pederito, the fingers are not bandaged for 2 months, but they needed splints for a while and lots of physio to get them strong enough before I was allowed to drive. I thought it would be 2 weeks, but it was 8 weeks.

Morning all :)
Busy morning here. Bb had an early dentist appt (just a checkup) so Minnie and I dropped him off then went to the park. The very wet, exceedingly muddy park...Bb walked down and met us in there.
Once home dog and I came in the back gate then we did as good a job as we could of cleaning her up. Obviously she's permanently getting wet and muddy, but she laid in a particularly dirty puddle of more mud than water :(

Anyway, did get a few jobs done yesterday, a couple more to be ticked off today.
Ally these sickness bugs do spread like wildfire, once you've seen it you do understand why the hospitals close off wards etc. Hopefully it will go just as quickly but not at all nice while it lasts.
Jen hope it goes better than expected.
Loz good luck, now you know how well they work it's a much easier decision :)
Hope the poorlies are feeling better

I've just remembered too Di..when Don rang his mum on Sunday, Lynn-one of the carers, said there was a bug going round Ashley Lodge that almost everyone was getting.
