I used to like that Sleb fit/fat Club - that big scale thing they sat on at the weigh in.

Watched last night's episode as was out (for my own Masterchef experience!) and Don had taped it for me. :D

I really enjoyed it - Alison came across as nice and not as in yer face and shouty as I was expecting. :D

Ken made me laugh out loud!

Emma - claims to never had cooked a dessert before yet when John & Greg tried her chocolate thing she said 'that never happened at home'. Hmmm...

And that snail and bone marrow thing. Image

Just finished watching Friday's :D
God they're such luvvies aren't they, Amanda and Emma

Not a particularly good bunch this week, but JB shows definite promise.
I could've done that prawn cocktail with my eyes closed and a hand tied behind my back ;) :P

In my original recipe book (the one started on my first proper cookery lesson at grammar school, with vegetable soup - I didn't bother with the coffee & toast, or tea & sandwiches) - I have the 'D's spicy sauce for prawn cocktail' written out by the ex, complete with spatters :D

And going back an episode, what on earth was Ken doing there?! - did he ever think he could cook? Does he ever smile???

I roared with laughter at

a) The confusion on their faces when faced with those prawns to make the cocktail.

b) John's face.

c) When John asked Emma what else can you do with a pan/potato and she said mash!

Re c) - yes me too, had to rewind, and it kept me chuckling for ages :D

I can still remember my very first taste of shrimps. It was at a seaside, up at Cleethorpes maybe.
Dad took me over to this tin hut, we watched the woman tip all the shrimps into a big old oil drum of boiling water, swish them round and take them out with a great big sieve thing...
Then we sat on the wall and he taught me how to peel them - think he was hoping I wouldn't like them, so I'd peel them all for him, those tiny little shrimps and my tiny fingers ;)
I was about 3 :D

Actually saw tonight's on the right night :D
This week's batch better than last weeks ;)

Feel very sorry for Lesley Ash, still walks with a stick (she got MRSA or something similar) but she did good tonight.
Wayne - no. Just no.
Millie (never heard of her) - good :)
Tanya - how can you have children but not be able to cook at all?! :?
Alex (never heard of him either) - good :)

Pizza - oh yes, eaten it, no idea how to make it - what, you never noticed it almost always has a tomato sauce on the base, which is usually rather larger than your fist?

What was that rice thing with scallops? A meal? No.

And I so want to punch Gregg (two Gs).

I only drop in in the hope that some day somebody will! ;) :P
