Is there a permanent display of items from the Staffordshire Hoard at the museum now? It's quite something to see and, as Ossie says, it was found local to both of us and I so wish I'd found it!!

You know, I've still not visited the new library - and I've been saying for years that I'm going to book a visit to the back to back houses down Hurst St!

The gold collection from the Staffordshire Hoard is still on display OssieAnd very beautiful and impressive it is. There's a collection of Japanese artifacts too.

BTW I have been saved a few times by asking the hotel reception if they have any chargers knocking about that I could borrow. They often have some for the main phones that people have left behind.
