Good morning Sunday

Postby meriad » 22 Jun 2014, 07:05

I can't believe I'm the first one this morning :D - good morning everyone

Was woken early by the starlings having an argument about the food; they really are very loud when they want to be :D . Slightly overcast this morning but hopefully the sun will come through and it'll be a nice day like it was yesterday. Lots to do in the garden today because I (as suspected) got very little done yesterday - I did end up at Karl and Nadine's for a BBQ and ended up cabbing in home about 10pm... Nadine is collecting me later this morning so I can go fetch my car.

Hope everyone has a lovely day today xxx

Good morning everybody.

Lovely and sunny again.
May paint the fence today. Will have to miss the bit behind the shed as the gap is small and I cannot get in the small gap.
Have done all the weeding and will have to wait to mow the lawn again even though I am watering it. Be a hose pipe ban soon if this warm weather lasts.

Good morning Meriad and Cruiser.

It's a lovely morning here. Just back from a walk with Prince and then wolfing down my breakfast.

Cruiser - I hope the fact that you can't paint the back of the shed is because you have grown too plump.
What about using a paint roller with an improvised handle extension? There's always a way, you know.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning everyone

Sunshine and clouds again

Need to find the car mechanic, as the car is playing up, so need to write it all down in Portuguese and then tell him, using the notes as back up ;)  So that will mean a walk down to the village and a sit in the shade with a beer, waiting for him to turn up

BBQ tonight and footie late.

Hope you all have a good day and the sun continues to shine xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

We've only just surfaced, having a very lazy start to the day. Will pop round for the papers when E's showered and then expect we'll spend the day sitting in the garden. Bought an M&S rotisserie chicken so we'll have that hot with salad later, nice and easy.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)
Lovely sunny day again, long may it continue :D
We're having a proper cooked breakfast soon - ok brunch but neither of us eats early - butchers sausages, their own cured bacon, farm eggs and tomatoes - and sliced white bread :D

Not sure what we're doing after that, just enjoying this lovely weather :)
Have a good day all

Afternoon all. It's a bright sunny day here and we had planned to drive along the coast but we've just heard that there's a motorbike rally which will clog up the entire coast road all afternoon, so change of plan. I don't know what Plan B is yet. I didn't sleep well because I decided to allow the kittens the run of the house overnight. Usually we confine them to the ground floor when we go to bed. As a result they spent half the night playing pounce on my bed and the other half sleeping heavily on my legs. Back to normal tonight.
