Weeeelll, Dirk came round with a couple, for a viewing - not that I think we have a hope of selling to them. But a lovely and very young couple.

Next door is insistant that they won't sign a promisary contract, 50% money down and the buyers can have the house within a month. Dirk said that this is just not on, not done, never heard of before

But Michel and his wife are here in Portugal until Wednesday, then they have to go to France.

As he said, never say never, he's not heard from them today - and of course, we always have the original buyer.

And he also said that this house will sell, and soon

I think your NDNs must have a screw loose, surely they realise they will never sell unless they change that attitude??

But, if they've screwed this sale up, I've told Grumpy that I am never going to speak to them again. They can go whistle for cuttings and I'm sorry if that sounds childish, but they (she) have mucked about for a week and let not only us, Michel and his wife down, but also the people whose house we'd like to buy.

And Dirk was a star, but even he has washed his hands of them - and his commission
