No Wonder I Love This Town

:D :D :D

Tonight's the night the Spanish Bachillerato graduation ceremonies take place in our town. :D

They're held in El Porton gardens which are gorgeous and have an open air theatre where the students are awarded their certificates.

Walking through town tonight there was an air of expectation and loads of very beautiful 18 year old boys and girls - all dressed up to the nines making their way to the gardens with their proud parents. :D

I remember when it was Jacob and Conor's turn 3 years ago - mum, dad, Craig and Leilani came over and it was just wonderful. :D :D

So this is going on tonight - our Feria opens at midnight tomorrow night; our town is fizzing with excitement.

No wonder I love it here! :P :P :P

Sounds lovely Ally :)
Meriad I know Ally has talked about the Feria before, but in Malaga I think - fiesta/fair/excitement-type stuff, but I'm sure she can explain better than that

It's a fair Ria - but in typical Spanish style madder than mad!

They start really late, finish at 6am, everyone dresses up in all their finery and struts their stuff, there's stalls, bars, food and an air of madness in the sweltering heat - fab!

Just to add all towns have their own ferias - then the cities have the HUGE ones...the Malaga one in August is spectacular. :P :P
