Normally, it can be done Ria. Not impossible.

But, Michel (our french bloke) cannot do pay the remainder until December.

What the main problem seems to be is that his (michel) family need somewhere to live now and the idea was that they move into next door and the works needed (and there is a LOT) are done whilst theyre there. The final payment will be between 15 December and 15 January.

That's why next door want half of the house money paid now. Hopefully Dirk will be suggesting (mine) that they are paid rent, rather than the 75,000. 10,000 down and rent then the final payment in December/January.

Michel is buying both houses himself and the money - for whatever reason, cannot be found until December.

Just been along to see a neighbour, to translate, as everyone seems to be coming here in about an hour - our neighbour is not in, but his wife - who speaks not a word of English :D - invited me in, gave me a hug, stroked my arm, blew me kisses as I left (we're classed as family) and promised that her husband will come here when he gets back.

And we agreed - muito complicada

Blimey Ton, everything crossed for something everyone can agree to.
It would be such a shame if it didn't work out, it's obviously perfect for the French people (((x)))

Oh my word, complicated indeed!!! :( How frustrating is the behaviour of your neighbours???? I am amazed that they are putting these difficulties in the way - after 5 years on the market you would think they'd be doing everything they can to help thing along  :?

Srill no news

Rose and I went for a walk, cos I really can't just sit and wait.

We went past the estate agents, just after 3.00. This car was there, he wasn't around, but the French couple were hanging around.
