She was in the paper today, pictured posing - totally unaware of the paps of course (not!) - in an immaculate bikini, clutching a child on her hip! Apparently the people questioning her decision to go to Rio "....are thick!!" Pots and kettles, Coll

My guess is that there will soon be a new launch of something, either her clothing line or a new book....this will all be because of that ;)

I still like Coleen. She raises a lot of money for children's charities, including the Paediatric Wards at Alder Hey and has raised the profile of Retts Syndrome which her sister died from. As did my lovely Bluebell who I worked with at school.

I don't disagree with her taking the children either, it's surely not going to do them any harm?
I grew up in a sports household - Dad loved all sports but played cricket every hour he could; he was good, Notts wanted him but in those days you needed a private income. Instead he played in local leagues, and won every cup/shield there was.
I was there when he played in the team picked from all the local ones against a county side (3 times), and when his team won the annual league.
He would wake me up at 4 in the morning to listen to the radio with him when England were playing the Aussies at cricket - we heard Cassius Clay fight Sonny Liston, all sorts.
And if he'd played for a 'proper' county, or for England, I'd want to know why I wasn't there when he'd played for England, or they won the Ashes :)

Di, that's kind of what my argument was going to be for them being there. Suppose England won the World Cup (stop laughing!) and they weren't there, they'd want to know why in years to come, I'm sure. Even if they couldn't remember it (though the older one surely would) they'd still be able to say that they were there when their Dad won the World Cup.
