Feeling very normal!!

Postby Osc » 17 Jun 2014, 21:50

I've had a totally normal day today - did the supermarket run, dealt with laundry etc. - although sadly my return to normality seems to mean that Mr. Osc is going to slope off into Washmeister retirement   Will have to keep him involved, I think ;)

Miss Osc and family are in Cork, tomorrow they are going to the Pro-Am day of the Irish Open golf tournament. They are staying in the same hotel as many of the golfers and Michael is hopeful of meeting Rory McIlroy - already, Shane Lowry who is an Irish pro, went up to Michael and gave him his golf glove!! (Who could resist such a gorgeous little boy.......mmmm.....maybe I am a leetle bit biased!!) A Pro-Am day is a great day for bringing a child to a golf tournament as it's all very relaxed and you can get pretty close to the golfers and celebs, plus the weather forecast is brilliant. We had thought about going but then decided it would be too much having just come back from our weekend away yesterday. They are coming home straight after the golf tomorrow evening.

I went for a lovely walk on the pier this evening, wonderful to be out after 8pm and not even needing a jacket or sweater. I'm already a teeny bit fed up with football

So glad that you're feeling more "normal" Osc xx

You keep him on the washing up duties ;) sometimes, not always.

That is good news Osc, what a shame though if Mr Osc has to go into retirement

And how lovely for Michael, that was very kind of Shame Lowry - fingers crossed that he gets to meet Rory McIlroy!

Brilliant Osc, you'll be in terrific shape for your holiday :)
How lovely for little Michael, maybe we're all a tiny bit biased but fingers crossed for Rory :D
It is so lovely just feeling warm isn't it, that's all we wanted from our holiday :)

It was all we wanted from ours too Di   ;)

Osc you sound much better, it looks as though you'll be completely recovered for your holiday - the timing for that couldn't really have been better, any earlier and you wouldn't have been up to it and any later and it wouldn't have had the same beneficial effect 8-) :)

I'm sure MrO can be persuaded to keep up the good work - it would be a shame to waste all that training :P :D ;)
