Morning Ally and chums :D
Feeling a little less dizzy this morning, so that's good. I need to go shopping, so I'll take it easy.
Have a good day everyone and Ally, enjoy the chat with your mum x

Ally I hope your mum is feeling better, when you get your chat xxxx

Still a bit too dark here to tell what the weather will be like today, but I'm hoping for dry so I can get a walk........Might go up and visit my MIL or I might walk into town, not sure yet :)

I forgot to mention but we had BT Infinity installed yesterday morning! It doesn't seem to have made that much difference so far - not sure quite what I was expecting :?

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone.
Hope your mums a bit better today, and your feeling better to Loz
My mum and dad came over this morning and brought me some of my fragile boxes that have been living under their stairs for a year and a half. So I have been having fun unpacking thm and "rediscovering" the contents. Why I have 3 different sets of port and champaign glasses, then at least 6 sets of wine glasses I have no idea. All but one are crystal, so seem too good to throw out. :?

Then tonight I had a lesson in how to use the lawnmower. I've not used one for close to 15 years, as we moved into apartments overseas, then when we came home, hubby insisted on lawnmower man. Well this lawn is dead flat, and only took an hour to do, so not sure if we will b getting another man to do it, so thought I had better learn how to start an stop the thing.

6am bootcamp in 8.5 hours, so I had better go to bed

Morning all :)
For once the weather has defied the forecast and it's really quite nice - well, at least I don't have the light on!
Still catching up with housework, wish I could do more at once then it wouldn't go on so.
Sometimes, like now, I get a bit panicky (not really the right word, more like helpless) about all the things that haven't been done. I'm trying to only look at one job at a time...

Glad you're a bit less dizzy Loz, it must be a horrible feeling.
Hope you get to speak to your mum Ally, and hope everyone else under the weather is improving too.

One job at a time is the way to look at it Di ((((x)))) It's shaping up to a bright-ish sort of day here too - am off for a walk soon, and will probably call in to see D (MIL) on the way back......... :)

rain here but very mild and no wind so that's something I suppose. Pleased the invalids are feeling better but take it easy so you don't over do things young Loz!
I have been rummaging in the back of beyond ie, the cuboard under the stairs....and have unearthed some 100 watt bulbs so don't tell anyone....but we can now see properly for the first time since we swapped over to the low whatsist ones. ;)

Morning all :D

Glad to hear your mum is feeling a bit better Ally. And you too lozzles xxx

Hope debih's had a peaceful night and the news from the vet was good.

We're off to the cinema to see the new Jack Reacher film shortly. I absolutely love Lee Child's books so really want to love this film, but..........not entirely sure Tom Cruise was the right choice :? Actually I'm a big fan of his so it won't be his acting, just not sure he can convince me he's Jack Reacher..........

Hope you all have a good day :D
