Just light, but warm, so expecting a lovely day - but you never know

Hospital for me this morning, just a check-up with Gladys and the rather lovely Dr Paulo Dropping our friends off in the village and they're going across to the island for a while and we'll meet them whenever we get back.

Keeping everything crossed that our potential buyer goes to see our agent today and signs the contract - then I can start packing and then need also to speak to the owners of the house we'd like to buy.

It's June. It's hot.

I'm getting the train to Fuengirola this morning for a mega walk along the coast.

This afternoon I'm popping into my new school to meet the other teachers and have a chin wag with them - we're all going out on Thursday night.

Morning all. Its nice again this morning, though a little cooler.

I'm down with the kids this morning - get me. I've just booked to take S and a friend to a concert on 18 July and as they are only 13 and its their first concert I'm going with them.

I'm so excited - I'm going to the Hallam FM Summer Live concert and, get this - I'm going to see Kaiser Chiefs, Katy B, Little Mix, The Vamps, Five Seconds of Summer, The Foxes, Neon Jungle, Ella Eyre, Ashley Roberts, Ella Henderson and Jessica Steele. How exciting.

Who the hell are these people. I know the Kaiser Chiefs (I'm secretly excited about seeing them) and I've heard of Katy B, Little MIx and The Vamps but I have no idea what they sing.

Well nothing exciting to report here, same old same old, housework, then a walk out and probably picking up a bit of food shopping......Pleasant but not exciting I feel I need something new, the hypno has truly died a death (flogging a dead horse here) and my back is no longer up to retail, so not sure what really I'm bored

Kaz it can be hard, I spent years trying to work out just what I could do with a b*ggered arm/shoulder/back. You could try putting in 'volunteers Gloucester' and see what comes up, there are all sorts of different things.

Bb's all set to start a new job today - same kind of stuff he already does but a different company. Not instead but as well as, there's not as much work coming through as there was last year
I'm planning on some gardening, it was too chilly and windy yesterday - nothing hefty, just bits and pieces of clipping/tidying and some planting out.

Cheers Di, I might talk to D about it as she does a lot of volunteering (Cruse, AgeUK, and other stuff) although I think my lack of a car might limit me, pretty much all she does involves being able to drive.....I know the charity shops in town need people, but then again that's standing around doing retail work, so exactly the same as the work I had to give up before, only not getting paid for it

I might start a post about this later on another board, rather than clogging the morning thread

Fingers tightly crossed everything goes as planned with the house Ton, good luck at the hospital too xxx

Bright and sunny here at the moment, hoping it stays nice as we're off out to the dentist this morning. It's just the usual 6 monthly check up so fingers crossed he doesn't find anything needs doing.

No other plans, will probably detour into the shops for a bit more salad and that's about it.

Woo hoo - I'm back home. Our computer system and phone lines are down in our office (they were yesterday too) so I've come home to "work". I have actually got some typing to do but it won't take me that long.

And sadly Di, the concert is inside Sheffield Arena. If it were an outdoor one I could take my book!
