such a lovely smell

Postby meriad » 14 Jun 2014, 10:50

I very very seldom buy fruit because during the week the company provides it for us and on weekends - well I don't really miss / need it. Today Nadine (my SIL) asked me to pick up some grapes and strawberries for Amelia because the fruit selection and quality at our local Morrisons (where I was going) is fantastic. The smell of those strawberries in the car on the way home - just amazing! I now wish I'd bought some for myself :D

Fresh strawberries and sweetened condensed milk . Sheer bliss.

Oh, that's started my stomach rumbling.

I love 'em.

Love strawberries, and they do seem extra good this year :)
We've had loads this week, a lot of them in that lemon drizzle cake I made, with creme fraiche :)
