admittedly I paid enough for the crown in the first place, but when I went back to the dentist now to get some antibiotics (because I'm very concerned I may have an inflamation under the crown - not surprising after the amount of drilling etc for the crown - which may result in an abscess) he a) didn't charge me for the antibiotics and b) told me that if the tooth did require a root canal (which I'm really really trying to avoid) then the crown would still be under guarantee and I wouldn't be charged for another one.

Oh, and this time I was in and out in 10 minutes compared for the 2 hours last time!
