Oh it is so lovely to have Don home - after I picked him up last night we went out for a few beers and a bite to eat and talked, and talked and.....till 4am.

We woke at 8 this morning and have not stopped talking yet.

Walking into town later for some lunch...we might have a chat too.

Lovely and sunny here this morning after a night of thunderstorms. More rain forecast for this afternoon though, of course.

Work for me until around 2pm and then I want to call into the yarn shop on the way home - I haven't done any knitting for ages and fancy doing a pair of socks!

Morning all - beautiful morning here as well. We were meant to have lots of storms and rain last night but either I slept through it all or we really didn't have much Another friend that lives near Camden Market sent a message at 11.30pm saying that the heavens had opened where she is

I'm back to the dentist this afternoon - the tooth under the crown that was done last week is a tad sore and from previous exprience it needs a course of antibiotics to stop any potential abscess from forming; thankfully the dentist can prescribe those.

Cruiser - you're up bright and early; gym before 8am - you have more dedication than me
Debih - enjoy the yarn shopping and knitting. I'm a size 5 so if you have spare wool and fancy making another pair of nice warm socks for the winter
Kaz - have fun doing nothing - my idea of heaven
Ally - welcome back to Don and have fun today

Rubbish weather again grey cloud everywhere and a brisk wind

National holiday today - Portugal Day

More of the cleaning the house ready for our visitors today - Grumpy is feeling a lot better - well, I did buy half the chemist yesterday - and is going to wash the car.

Ton - that is bonkers weather for June.

A friend of Don's has just had a week in Turkey and it was mostly cloudy - totally unheard of.

Had an early busy start as had to get Bb to the station, he's in London for the day.

Minnie was funny, she watched me lock the back door and raced to the door to the hall, tail wagging like mad - I've no idea how she knows, but whenever I take Bb to the station or collect him, she insists on coming too
We do of course go out quite a bit without her, shopping etc,. so it's exactly the same routine but she somehow knows it's different

Beautiful here too, and a lovely strong breeze for the washing that's almost done. I would've done the towels but they're too heavy when they're wet, I'd have got told off
As for the rest of the day, not sure - bit of h-word, bit of just gazing at the lovely sunnification, maybe a little walk with Min later
