Gorgeous morning out there and I have a hangover..........................remind me not to drink brandy again Gladys is not a happy bunny this morning

Off to Tavira later, to air out a friends house - he only comes over about twice a year, so we check it over once a month or so - and then we're off to this ginormous chinese shop wot sells everfink - litteraly. Kitchen sink? yup. garden furniture? yup. and gert cheap too.

And I love the idea of that alarm clock Whizzing around the room - berlimey

Good morning all, it's dull and dreary here but at least it has stopped raining for the time being, so I might get out for a walk. Need to do some ironing today, and remove the Christmas smilies from our forum, and do anything else that appeals to me Good luck Loz at the doc and Millie at the vet. Have a good day everyone

Just for a change it's dark and damp here...
Been a (fairly) good housewife today, bed stripped and remade, washing in and drying - beginning to feel it will never get dried outside again!
More h-word to do, then later will watch Swing Time, recorded earlier this morning

Good afternoon all (typed morning and then looked at the clock - where's the time gone?).

It's quite mild and brightish here today. It was hard to get back into the routine this morning - it felt like the boys had been off school for ages.
John had to give Tom a lift to school this morning as he needed to take in the materials for his DT GCSE project or whatever they call it. Spent a small fortune on wood and hinges and bits and pieces for it in Wickes on Saturday He's got a few written GCSE papers to sit this month, with English being the first one on Thursday. Not nice to have an important exam the first week back after the Christmas holiday

I've been to the gym and then walked Billy, it was one of those slow walks today where no blade of grass, no fallen leaf and certainly no lamp post went unsniffed

Hope Millie gets on okay at the vets and that the doctor's appointment goes well Loz

Nothing much planned for today. It's youngest daughter's birthday and I know the boys spent ages yesterday decorating the house ready for this morning. We'll get down to see them all again in a couple of weeks time and have a mini celebration then.
