Morning everyone

Weird weather we're having   White cloud first thing this morning, then it went grey adn I thought we were going to have rain  but now the sun is trying to breakthorugh and we have some sinshine - definatley not the normal scorchio weather we're used to :?

Popping down to the village later, need to book a table - inside  - at the Capri, then actually gpoing to post the birthday cards and also a parcel - I'm veing very naughty and sending piri-piri sauce, sardine paste and some chillis :D

Good luck with the eye procedures both - hate having my eyes messed about with, hence giving up contact lenses.

Hope the sun keeps shining for you and you all have a good day xx

Morning all. Its gorgeous here - sunny and warm and still.

I was up and out early to walk Millie.

I have a busy day ahead as we have friends for dinner tonight - it was my friend Julie's 50th birthday last weekend and I am cooking a meal for her. There will be just the 6 of us, plus 6 kids. We take it in turns to cook every couple of months or so and tonight it is my turn.

I made my chicken liver pate yesterday and will serve that with some home made onion marmalade, melba toast and salad. I am making a chicken, pepper and chorizo casserole later and will serve that with roast new potatoes and more salad. My meringue is in the oven for the pud - I am doing Jamie Olivers meringue with hazelnuts, pears and a chocolate sauce.

I am cleaning this morning, although haven't bothered too much with upstairs as the kids will no doubt trash it. Have cleaned the bathroom and pushed the hoover round. The dining room was done yesterday so I only have the front room and kitchen to do.

Will pop back later.

Yum I love homemade chicken liver pate - have even made it once or twice myself back in the dim and distant, when I used to give dinner parties ;)

You all sound to have a busy day ahead. We on the other hand have no plans at all, might do a bit of gardening later if it stays nice  oh and expecting a client around 12ish, but that's about it for today.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Sooooo, that's where those potty weather conditions went to, Ton; I had them in my neck of the woods on, Wednesday, afr'noon gone.

Good morning ladies and gents..

T'was bright and warm while 'some eejit' was out there pavement pounding a while ago; now it's got even brighter and warmer, if this carries-on, it'll be down-tools-time for sure..(my rules ;) )

Yus, the 6th of June, 2014 today; marking the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings; whatever we are doing today, spare a moments silence for both the fallen and those remaining, who's combined sacrifices altered history on this day back in 1944; and gave us the freedom to do, that whichever we is doing today.

Blimey, Dippy, you was up and about early  don't tell me, it was that nutty budgie keeping you awake again, wasn't it? :D

Open the Friday night bar?......tut!, I really don't know woman..... you've only been on here five mins, and you're already trying to corrupt these nice, wholesome folk in here :D ................. (I'll see what time I get finished here ;) ).

Have a smooooth, easy, Friday, folks......and...
whatever you're doing today,
mind how you go out there.
