Good morning Monday

Morning up. Been up for hours (about 3.30am) - I still can't sleep properly. Am shattered and the day hasn't even begun yet.

Almost back to normal today - work for me this morning and school for S. L has an inset day so is off to a friends for the day.

Vets this afternoon to check on the leg and also to get the results of the blood tests. Fingers crossed they don't find anything serious although it would be nice if they found something that would throw some light on why she still struggles to keep food down.

Morning deb, I had a similar problem today. Didn't get to sleep till 12:30, then tossed and turned till 4, finally properly dropped off, then, the alarm went off at 5, as some idiot had a bright idea and set it as I was off to my first boot amp class this morning!

Actually enjoyed it, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that I wasn't the most unfit one there.
Came home and the rest of the house was still sleeping.

Went for a little power nap about 11:30, and since then have finished unpacking Oliver's room, Sasha's room, and cleaned her room inside and out, too to bottom till it shined.

And now, I can feel myself getting stiff and sore....

It's a(nother!) holiday here today as the Day of Kings fell on a Sunday the Spanish have a bridging day today to make up for it!

Am going for a 10km run..I have a time to beat set by Herman the German and I cannot let him win.

Competitive? Me?

Not slept brilliantly myself - Mick was snoring terribly and very restless - once or twice I nearly got up to nip into Harry's empty bed

Becks is back to college today, she slept through her alarm but luckily we were awake and yelled until she got up I think she needs an alarm clock like the one my MIL bought for our nephew - it is a space rocket on a docking station that gives a very loud countdown from 10 to zero like a real rocket, and then at zero it takes off from the docking station and buzzes round the room noisily until you get up and put it back on its dock! Inspired idea if you ask me - must ask her where she got it from

I'll be food shopping today at some point, and ironing, but apart from that no particular plans............have a good Monday everyone xxxxxx
