Good Morning Tuesday

Postby tonicha » 03 Jun 2014, 03:49

Morning everyone

Still dark outside  but another lovely, hot day forecast.

Up early, because a) that blasted darking bog was doing it's bark, howl, yip and yowl for most of the night  and then b) a buzzing in my ear and an itch on my right shoulder said a mozz was having an early breakfast  so decamped to another bedroom, but have now come downstairs for a cup of coffee, as couldn't sleep

Should be going to Tavira, to do some work in the little house, but will decide later. May walk down into the village and get those birthday cards I still really must get this week. And post them.

Hope you all have a good day - when it starts properly

Morning Ton, morning all. :D

Another scorcher forecast here. 8-) 8-) 8-)

Badminton for me first then back for a swim. :D

I shall be ringing my eldest son Craig today as it's his birthday - he's 29! :o

That can't be right as I only feel 29 myself!

Some bits and bobs to get done and work at 4.30. :D

Last episode of Happy Valley on TV tonight.

 For the dog (or its owner!) and  for the mozzie Ton.

Have a super day everyone. :D :D

Morning :)
Dull again here - nuff said.

Grrrr Ton
Our dog was a darking bog last ight. Next door but one now have a cat, a lovely thing, but if Minnie catches sight of a cat in her garden she does go mad. It walked along the wall from its house, and into the shrub;/tree that's in the neighbour over the back's garden, but in the corner of ours - and Minnie saw it
That's where a lot of birds live though, and there are babies - so we didn't want it in there either. Bb poked the tree with a stick till it came out, hissing :D It stalked off down the wall - but it will be back.

Happy birthday to Craig :)
Not sure what I'm doing today, bits of h-word I guess, later maybe some sewing :)
Have a good day all

Morning all :D

We were up early waiting for Mr.Plumber. Noticed as we were going off to bed there was no hot water so I rang them at 8am and he was here in 30mins. The boiler was flashing an error code which apparently means the circuit board, whatever that is :? has gone kaput and needs replacing  What with the new part plus labour we won't get much if any change out of £400 :( Oh well, needs must and all that, honestly what with the cylinder when we got back from Barbados and now this, think the system is having some kind of 7yr meltdown

He's promised to be back and finished by 12, just as well as we've got cinema tickets to see Maleficent at 1pm. Think we'll find somewhere for a late lunch/early dinner on the way home, methinks a glass of wine is definitely in order.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Back again

Managed to get some sleep and we're off to Tavira after breakfast :D We need some sheets - some of ours a very see-through   - and another little bbq with a spit thingy attachment.

Then I must do some sorting out, as we have friends coming over to stay next week.

If nothing else, I'd like to move some-where where dogs do not bark at the street-lights, wind or birds flying around  The sound of Portugal, sadly, is darking bogs

Laughed at Minnie though - ours used to do that to next doors Staffs

Morning everyone :)

It's cloudy but warm here 8-) Got some washing on the go so hopefully it won't rain (  ) but it probably will ;)

Off to Cheltenham this afternoon to see an orthodontist - will post on Health about it later :? This morning will be spent washing the kitchen floor and searching the garden for an ants' nest - loads of the little beggars crawling over the recycling box and a couple have made it indoors  It will be a boiling kettle job when I find it, I won't use powders with the dogs around :?

Hope everyone has a lovely day, it sounds as though some nice things are planned for some - Jen I'd like to see Malificent too I think, do post about it later and let us know? 8-) :D
