Morning Ally, morning everyone :)

Busy day for me, I have the usual Monday cleaning to do then need to get to town for 11 as I have an eye test. Then an unplanned visit to get my nails done as one split right across last night, and as it's on my right hand I'm having trouble typing :o Can't have that ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all - I had such a lovely weekend I really wish we still had another day or two of it; but alas - here we are; Monday :( so a usual work day for me.

Kaz - good luck with the eye test and the nails
Ally - apologies if I missed it; what is the interview for? Just being very nosey you see ;)
Saundra - hope you get the lawn mowed. I was meant to do mine yesterday but didn't get round to it; may do so tonight if it's dry still

Have a lovely day every one

Morning :)
Rather nice here at the moment :)
Not planning a lot today, after yesterday's gardening etc. Bb's going to hoover in a minute since he's not working till later.
The cricket final was really exciting, such a shame ITV4 won't have the IPl next year, it's gone where all the other sports go

Meriad I used to tell myself I wouldn't appreciate the weekends as much if I didn't have to work in between but never was convinced :D
Good luck Ally, and Kaz too - emergency indeed :D
Have a good day all

Good morning all! It's sunny and warm, John's back to work and the boys are back at school. Tom has his last AS level exam today. Hopefully it'll lighten his mood somewhat, he's been unbearable this last week or so and I seem to be bearing the brunt of it  and we had an argument this morning over the fact that I told him just to leave his breakfast bowl in the sink (which he usually does when I'd like it putting in the dishwasher!) as I wanted the dishwasher to be empty and he insisted on putting it in there, so once they'd all gone I took Billy for a long walk, we did just over 3 miles, and blasted it all away with a bit of Beautiful South on my iPod.

I've done some cleaning, hoovering and now I'm waiting for the dishwasher repair man to come and have a look at it as the door catch is a bit dodgy, I've been given an ETA of between 10am and 1pm.

I'm also waiting for a couple of emails from Tesco as we've ordered some items online for instore collection so hopefully they'll be in today for us to collect tonight. I bought some jeans from there a few weeks ago, just for tatting about in really, and I really love them and have been checking everytime I've gone in since for another pair in my size but they've only had them in long leg so I ordered a pair online.

Just waiting for my nails to dry now. I want to do some baking today as I want to experiment with some high-carb treats for the Coast To Coast challenge that John's organised with work which is now less than two weeks away! They're now up to 71% of their total on Just Giving and have donations so far of £1424 for MacMillan! He's worrying though because he's pretty sure that some of the team won't make it as they've hardly trained but one of the fellas from his department is going to be nearby throughout with a vehicle to pick up anyone having problems (and their bike).

Have a good day all
