Afternoon all - gorgeous here.

I was up and out early with Millie - I had a rubbish nights sleep so at 6am I got up and went on a lovely long walk over the moors. Home for breakfast and then I was at the allotment by 8.30. I've just got back about half an hour ago and have just finished my lunch before I head up the garden to the polytunnel, though there isn't much to do in there at the moment.

No real plans for this afternoon other than stripping the beds (more washing for my mum - when will my machine ever be fixed) and then I might sit outside with my book for a wee while.

Nope, not here they aren't ;) We missed our weekly Chinese takeaway last night as we were out at a function (and very good it was, too - we don't get dressed up often and the wine and dancing was very enjoyable! :D ) so we will likely have that tonight after hospital visiting. T has gone off to play golf - he's not played in ages but got a call this morning asking if he'd like a game so off he went - I've had a lie in with the papers and brekkie in bed, pottered around the house, tidied up and hoovered and am now having a coffee and a toasted teacake :)

Have a nice Sunday folks - hope it's sunny where you are xx

Afternoon :)
Bit of a late night so we didn't get going as early as intended but not too bad; since it's likely to be the only decent day thought we'd best make the most of it!
So, more washing done (can actually see the bottom of the basket now), a nice wander with Minnie then back for bacon & egg before a good stint of gardening.
Just had lunch, saw the very end of Andy Murray winning his match, a couple of hours till the IPL cricket final which we're both looking forward to.

Hardly ever a roast here, although we enjoy it when we do have it. Saturday is often pizza night but last night we had that aubergine pasta, so may have pizza tonight instead - I don't want to be stuck in the kitchen if the cricket's exciting ;)

Poll I saw all about the trams on Breakfast yesterday, such an incredible overspend! They looked lovely though, glad you got to go on the first day :)
Gal hope the patient's doing ok (((x)))

Afternoon all, the weather is a bit disappointing here today, dull but fairly warm - I'm actually tempted to paint my toenails because I could keep the socks off long enough for the toes to dry  We headed off to a shopping centre this morning to get some bubble wrap in Argos, and I also got a nice lineny jacket (pic on Boutique board shortly) - it's sooooo good to be driving again. Didn't have a wander around because I was trying to make sure I didn't overdo it. I might do a bit more packing up in a while, Mr. Osc is flicking between golf and cycling on the tv. Think I might have a little snooze in the chair first though. Hope you are all enjoying your nice weather, could you send some over here please!

It was glorious sunshine this morning. There are plenty of clouds now but still some patches of blue sky.
Have managed to tidy the garden. Not mowed the lawn as our green bin for garden waste is full. Have missed the last two collections as we have been away on holiday.
Now relaxing and having a few minutes on my computer.

oh yeah Di, a massive overspend getting these trams up and running, to many peoples disgust! :?

They were meant to go further but they went too over with the dosh!
