Good Morning

Postby KateLMead » 26 May 2014, 05:07

Good morning everyone, Oscar woke me up at 515 demanding his breakfast. I then had his shoving his way into my bedroom
Seeing what he could get in his mouth, up on the window ledge grabbing one of the monkeys that peer through the window with me chasing him as he dived under the bed.

Well UKIP get their place. Now We Will See The a Outcome give the man a chance.

Morning all :)
Not nice here, dull and chilly and threatening to rain any minute. Most of the country looked better than here on the map so hope some of you have some sunshine.
What we're up to will depend on the weather, so will update if it improves any :)
The new bathroom blind should get done anyway.
Hope you all have a good day

Morning all :D

Woke up early this morning, no idea why :? so we've decided to treat ourselves and go out for brekkie, as soon as E's out of the shower that is.

Managed to cut the grass yesterday afternoon so there really isn't much else to do, I'm sure there's something but I'm not looking too hard  We'll probably pop into Homebase for some light bulbs on the way home and that's about it for today.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all - been a very quiet BH weekend here, we just spent yesterday snoozing, reading papers etc, although I am still trying (and failing) to transfer my photos from old phone to new.....*sigh*

It's been wet much of the weekend too so not good for walking or outdoor pursuits which would have been the norm for us, and then today when we have a bit of sunshine, we are booked to take my sister to hospital to visit my brother in law this afternoon....ah, well, but bless it is her birthday today too - not much fun for her, perhaps we might take her out for a meal afterwards or something, we shall see..

Have a good one everyone :)

Morning all, it was dull earlier on but has got fairly warm now with the sun appearing now and then. Today I am four weeks post-op and I feel really well, we walked home from Miss Osc's yesterday evening and I felt great after it (still a bit tender in the relevant area, but finding it easier to live with). We've been awake since just before 8am, as there was a man coming to install a new gas meter in what will be our new home and we had been given a slot between 8am-1pm. He arrived about 10.30am which was grand. Mr. Osc has gone to play golf, and I asked him to leave some pots for me (still not opening the pot drawer or lifting saucepans as ours are fairly heavy), so I can make a pasta sauce for tonight. I'll probably do some more packing today also. It's not a bank holiday here, ours is next weekend. Hope you all have a nice day, whatever is on the agenda :)

Afternoon everyone :D - it's a rather very wet day; even the cats are showing no interest what soever to go mouse hunting; they're all curled up in various place.

A lazy start to the day; only got up at 9.... but since then have got a beef stew going in the slow cooker; two loads of washing done, fridge has been emptied and cleaned, lounge and passage have been vacuumed; bathroom and dining area swept - now just the bedroom to do and the fish tank needs a bit of a clean.
