Morning Ally and everyone. It's a lovely sunny day here as well, but not up to Costa standards. It rained all day yesterday and overnight so let's hope that's it for a while. We are off to a hospital appointment this morning. Mr PP has atrial fibrillation and is having cardioversion, which as I'm sure you know is the paddles applied to the chest to shock his heart back to normal rhythm. Fingers crossed that it works for him as it's successful in 80% of cases apparently. I hope we're not there for too long as I'm hoping to get a walk this afternoon.

Morning all :)
Struggling with the smiley, it's horrible here! Huge thunderstorm yesterday afternoon, torrential rain last night, and now gale-force winds with rain on and off

Spent ages yesterday trying to work out what was wrong with the pc which in the end was something really, really simple :D
Got the holiday photos on anyway, so will be posting a few later :)
Bits of h-word and maybe some ironing on the agenda, plus two more games of the IPL :)

Good luck to Mr PP, yes it usually does a good job so fingers firmly crossed x
Hope your appt's ok too Kaz x
Have a good day all

Morning everyone

A lovely, sunny morning here :D

Good luck to Mr P this morning xx

We'll be popping down to the village later, to get our usual losing lotto ticket    and then a pit-stop at Nizette's and people watch for an hour or so.

Tuna salad for dinner - yes Di, I know it's fish, but it comes out of a tin and I can smother it in oil and vinegar  to disguise the smell/taste

Good luck at the docs too Kaz xx

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all :D

So much for no more early mornings, we've been up ages and have even been out to get the papers. Got a man coming to do an EPC, the energy certificate thingy all houses need before sale. I'm guessing someone will be putting up a board today or tomorrow too. I hate them, but it was a condition of getting the lowest fee. I don't believe they help achieve a sale, just an advert for the estate agent. Oh well, needs must and all that.

Good luck to Mr.P at the hospital, hope it works x Hope your appointment goes well too kaz x

Just started washing all mother's winter wardrobe. The Orchards do a good job, but I like to launder it all so it's nice and fresh before putting it away till later in the year. No other plans for today, got a client at 1.30pm and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Jen, those things are so silly, aren't they?

We had to have one and it took him 10 minutes, at most, and cost us 275 euros

We're a C class and the only way you can get an A or B is to have solar panels for lecky, bore hole for water and don't use gas or wood for anything

Hope you get a quick sale :D

Oooh I thought I'd posted on this thread earlier  It's a miserable day here, cold and wet. Went to vote early before the rain started, glad I did. Mr. Osc went to play golf, but didn't hit a ball as the rain started before they did  We've done some culling of his clothes and shoes and I did a little of my own also and when (if) the weather ever significantly improves, I'll pack away the winter clothes ready for moving. We are flicking between the cycling in Italy and the golf in Wentworth, and a friend said she would pop in to see me on her way home from work so the day is passing very nicely.

All went well at the hospital. The cardioversion worked and Mr P feels like a new man already. He says he'd forgotten how good it feels to be normal.

Hope your GP's appointment went well Kaz.
