Never did buy many but since the horsemeat scandal none at all!
They were plain, just salt & black pepper - but I made hot salsa to go on top ;)
And Jersey Royals, boiled then lightly sauteed :)

Just soaking beans now for Ton's White Bean Thingy, to go with the chicken later :)

Afternoon all, bright and breezy here, warm in a sheltered spot but chilly enough in the breeze. The Washmeister put out a load of washing last night, which is dry and in, with another load now blowing around on the line. I wanted to do a bit of ironing but he has managed to completely ignore my requests to take out the iron and ironing board for me, and finally told me it was too early for me to be ironing, maybe next week. So I put his shirts on hangers and so long as he has a sweater on, you can't see that they need ironing

Going to our Wednesday dance tonight to say hello to all our friends, but I won't be on the dance floor, it will be nice to see everyone though. Heading out to the shop shortly to get a card for a couple who had their 25th anniversary yesterday, and I have a bottle of wine for them. Going to have a rest in a while to build myself up for the big outing, my main excitement over the last couple of weeks has been a trip to Lidl

Hope everyone is having a good day :)
