Good Morning this sunny Sunday

Afternoon all, overcast here too with rain forecast, so we went for a walk earlier on just in case we can't get out later. Since the op my sleep pattern seems to have changed, and I was on FB at 6.30am chatting to a friend in New Zealand  although I did manage to get back asleep again for a while after that. I feel it's not going to be too long before I get cabin fever in my head, but honestly, I'm still not up to doing too much physically and The Washmeister watches me very carefully in case I do too much.

So today I have a couple of things to put on ebay, and then I want to see if I can still crochet because I have resurrected a baby shawl I was making years ago which I hope to finish for our new grandchild. That will be the extent of my day, oh yes, I want Mr. Osc to help me clean the bathroom as well - how exciting is that  Enjoy your day everyone :)

That does sound perfect Kaz, just a shame it's not quite like it for weeks on end :D

We'd planned some leisurely poolside work then a wander into town for lunch but instead went for a 3-hour walk  All through the National park, by the river and the salt lagoons, it's utterly beautiful :)
Finally had a well-deserved beer then bought rolls and came back here for a late lunch.
Just been for a Jacuzzi session to recover and now have a nice cuppa :D

I've had a smashing day!

There was a fair on in an agricultural college close to the centre of Durham, so, as Tom has been otherwise engaged much of the weekend, I took Lewis, Amy and Jennifer along :D :D There were things like dog agility shows, horse dressage, plice dog handling, trampolines and face painting for the littlies, as well as archery and lot of other stuff, like sheep shearing etc etc... and lots of food vans :D Lewis was very good, waited patiently 3 times for the face painting (he went for Spiderman) archery and trampolines :D We were there about 3 hours altogether, everything was free once you'd paid your fiver a car, plenty of parking although a bottleneck to get in  :? Got back about an hour ago but it's been really lovely, so warm and sunny, perfect for such a day 8-) Tom is really disappointed he had this other thing planned, says he is not going to be doing it next year!

Going to put a chicken in the oven for tea shortly, since we are all still full of doughnuts and ice cream atm ;) I dropped Lewis off at Amy's on the way home as A is off to a friend's baby shower and Donna was collecting L en route to the beach :)

:D

Gal that sounds great, I love days like that 8-) :D Poor Tom

Di that does sound beautiful, just magical 8-) I was saying to Mick, out in the garden a little while ago, that this weekend has been terrific, if only we got this weather all summer  ;)

Ooo that would have been terrific for us getting back from the fair - we walked a LOT!! Sounds idyllic, you won't want to come home ;)

It has Jo, although it does seem an age since we dropped Minnie off.
We've done a lot, and made lovely new friends :D
Can't wait to show you all some pics and tell a few stories ;) :D
