Can I please ask for some vibes for my mum.

I was all set to give her my daily call and checked my mobile, as usual, first.

We have a little scheme where mum will text me if she's going out (to save me worrying if I rang and she didn't answer) and then texts me to let me know she's back home and I can ring her.

On her text she asked me not to ring as she feels poorly with a chest infection and is spending the day in bed.

My mum never, ever stays in bed so she must


be feeling rough.

Update on mum.

I texted mum to ask if she felt well enough to talk..and she doesn't.

For those that can remember I posted about mum's condition a year or so ago and a chest infection is really bad news for her.

I'm now in a quandary.

My gut reaction is to jump on the first plane and go and see her..I just want to be near her.

But..mum being mum..would HATE it if she thought she was causing me any trouble (she's not!)

I know she's scared of going into hospital as without a doubt she'd be kept in.
She's very strong willed and plays down how ill she really is..I know she hides alot from dad and my sis doesn't realise either.

Mum's always confided in me as I think she thought she could talk to me without me falling to bits.

(Little does she realise what I'm like sometimes after we talk. )

My sensible side is telling me to wait and see what happens but I'll be honest..I've never known her to sound scared like she does now.

I've always told dad to ring me if he thought I should be there.

I feel sick with worry.

I've just finished talking to dad Loz and he's got mum tucked up in bed and keeping a very close eye on her.

I'll just wait and see how she is later on.

It might come to it that mum needs to go into hospital no matter how much she protests and saying she'll be fine.
