Good morning, all.

It's a glorious morning here, and I really enjoyed my walk with Prince.

Ali - You certainly live an active life. What's your secret? (Can I have a bottle)

I think we'd all like to know the secret. I personally think Ally is a twin and they're splitting the activities and fooling everyone ;-)

Morning all, it's a nice day here, not that sunny but bright and warm. I didn't have a good night and have a small sore area making me uncomfortable but sure, I've nothing else to do but take it easy  You know I didn't realise quite how many odd bits of dancing I did in the normal course of my day - we listen a lot to American country music stations, and it's requiring physical effort to stay sitting or not bop around if I am on my feet   It'll be quite a few weeks yet before I'm able to even do some gentle dancing.

Mr. Osc has just gone out to play golf, last week none of his friends was available so he didn't get to play at all, he really deserves to get out because he's being so good looking after me. I'm going to have my shower shortly, and then need to go and buy a birthday card for my sister whose birthday is on Sunday - I'm afraid she will be making do with some kind of gift voucher as I have not had the opportunity to buy her something, and wasn't organised enough to do it pre-op. No other plans for the day. Have a good day everyone :)

OMG I'm exhausted.

Up early this morning to take Millie out as I knew she wouldn't get another walk until this evening (she has been looking at me with sad eyes all day). Took L to school so I could call at Wilko's on the way back as I ran out of paint yesterday. I've spent the rest of the morning painting the rest of L's room - it now has all four walls a bright turquoise colour. It looks really nice. I still have to give two walls their third coat. Tomorrow is the dreaded glossing.

I've just stopped to grab some lunch before I head out to the library and the garage to take my car back for them to order a new door handle trim (did I mention the door handle trim fell off on Tuesday!). Then hopefully back in time to stop off at a friends to drop her birthday present in before picking L up from school (if I'm passing at the right time).

Home for a quick shower as I'm off out at 5.45 to a friends house. She is having a Colour Me Beautiful party - her friend does it (she has been to do something similar before where she told us our make up colours). We have to go in one outfit and take another and she will give us tips and hints and also "do" our colours for us. We will no doubt be consuming copious amounts of alcohol and food so it should be a good night.

Note to self - don't drink too much. Cushion floor shopping and glossing the bedroom tomorrow!
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

We bought food for dinner here yesterday and have plenty left so don't even need to walk into the village if we don't feel like it -but we probably will :)

Utter bliss :D :D

Quieter day for me today after the madness of the whole of this week  Glad it's bright and sunny so I can keep popping out to sit in it now and again 8-)

Enjoy the weather whatever you are up to today xxx
