Morning Tuesday

Postby jenniren » 13 May 2014, 06:39

Morning all :D

Here we go again, up early ready for the decorator who's due to arrive in 30mins or so.

The windscreen reservoir pipe had been chewed again, not sure what we can do really, there's absolutely no sign of any mice in the garage :? Managed to get quite a bit done in the garden, all the pots are now planted and the shed and gate got a good rub down. Would have done the painting too if it hadn't rained. Not sure if it will get done today either, the patio pointing man didn't show up, but is definitely due today so it will depend on him and the weather.

Taking mother to the dentist this morning. She's had a habit of not wearing her bottom teeth just lately, fingers crossed the carers can find them.

Hope you all have a good day :D

:D Morning Jen 8-) I think you should keep up the early mornings, and be our wake-up poster :P ;)

I hope your mum will be ok at the dentist's and that her teeth turn up   ;)

It's brightening up a bit here now after a damp start - more washing to go out so I hope it stays fine :)

Going out with Becks later - she is still job hunting  Not even had an interview yet, maybe I should give her CV another once over :? More hassles with Student Finance, their website is hopeless, it won't let you submit a completed claim form so B wil have to ring them this morning

Have a good Tuesday everyone :) xxx

Morning everyone

Another lovely, hot morning :D

Up an hour earlier than normal, as some-one (him  ) thought it was 8.30, leapt out of bed, muttering about last nights winds and his tomato plants

I have a lot to get through this morning, as we are having some visitors later ;) and a magical mystery tour on the way over here too :D

Those finance people haven't improved then Kaz? They were rubbish going back about 10 years  What sort of accommodation is B using next year? Can I help in any way?

Grumpy has a spare top pair Jen, can't help with the bottom one's - hope it all goes well for her - and you x

Hope you all have a good day and enjoy the tango Loz xx

Aw thanks Ton but we have worked out that it will be much cheaper for B to live at home and commute three days a week than live in halls or a shared flat ;) So she will be living in superior accommodation with hot and cold running mum and stepdad :P    Living away has definitely done her good though, at least now she knows where the washing machine and cooker are   She needs to save money to finance what she wants to do next summer - go to Namibia to work with lions  - so living at home and (hopefully) getting a P/T job will finance that ;)

Morning all. Quite nice here so far.

Taking L to the dentist this morning (wish me luck) then need to go to B&Q for some bits and pieces. I want to try and call at a garden centre too to see if I can get some tomato, cucumber, pepper and chilli plants - the poly tunnel is ready. :D

Then home to bake a cake for tonight's craft group and plant up the stuff in the poly tunnel that I will hopefully buy.

Craft group tonight.

Good morning, all.

It's sunshine and showers here - more like April weather.
We won't be doing much today. Last night we booked up another holiday in a fortnight's time -
again not far from here, but we enjoyed the last one so much that we want another, and the
time will soon arrive when we will be getting rid of the car. (my age and Mrs A's health problems).

Hope you enjoy you Tango-ing, Loz. Last month we went into Birmingham to see the show, Dance 'Til Dawn.
It was absolutely smashing - the best show we have ever seen. I see that it is now going to be on in London.....

Have a lovely day, everyone.
