good morning monday

Good afternoon all, it's a wet one here today. It's rained all morning, hopefully it'll clear up this afternoon.

I've got Tom home today. He's supposed to be in school but his AS Levels start tomorrow and he feels he's better at home revising. I can't say that I blame him to be honest, at least he's got peace and quiet here, and some of his friends were doing the same. I'm worrying though now as he has two weeks of pretty intensive exams coming up and he told em to put in the email to school that he was feeling unwell which I did. Then 5 minutes later Joe came downstairs complaining of a sore throat and feeling poorly, he was coughing a lot yesterday so I thought he might have a bit of lurgy. He's gone to school though. I'm just hoping that by lying and saying Tom was ill, I've not jinxed things so that he'll now catch whatever Joe's got while he's doing his exams.
