Morning Sunday

Postby jenniren » 11 May 2014, 07:23

Morning all :D

No lie in for me this morning, been coughing since about 5am

Not sure what we're doing today, we bought some wood paint yesterday to give the garden shed and back gate a quick once over, depends on the weather really. Also need to pop to the garden centre sometime soon to get plants for the pots, will see how energetic I feel later on.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning Jen; morning Saundra

Oh dear Jen; hope you're able to shift that cough soon. I love visiting garden centres and potting up plants. After my car MOT and vet visits for Henry I'm a bit skint this month so have to wait until next month before I can go mad there - roll on June!!!!

Saundra for a minute there, I thought you were going to go out for a cycle ride  and was about to admire your energy then realised you're talking about watching on TV (yes??)

A lazy day for me; heading off to visit a friend in Fleet for lunch and that's about it.

Oh and happy Mothers day to my mom in Germany, Weka down under and all the other moms celebrating today. xxx Ton and Ally - I missed yours; you celebrated last weekend; didn't you?

have a lovely day everyone x

Good morning everyone. It's dry here today after a horrible wet day yesterday for the Giro. Today will be better for them. No plans except papers and crosswords and perhaps a walk with my audiobook.

Good morning friends

It's dull, windy and drizzling here, so I didn't particularly enjoy my dog walks this morning -
and I don't think Prince did either. He's sleeping it off now. I'm going to get my stamp collection out
and have a go at sorting out the hundreds of specimens that I've acquired over the past few years.
That will keep me quiet.

Hope you are all feeling well. Have a good day.

Afternoon all, it's fairly dull here but after some very heavy rain overnight, it is dry at the moment. We are going to Miss Osc's for our dinner later on, which will be a nice break for Mr. Osc as he has been working so hard all week looking after me. Dinner will be around 5pm after football and cycling, I think, just waiting to hear what time she will pick us up. Some of you may not know that Mr. Osc doesn't drive, so when I am unable to do so, we are dependent on others. At the moment, he is checking the weather for the next few days to judge when we should do washing   he is turning it into a fine art

Saundra, when you see the Giro get near to Dublin going through a place called Baldoyle - that's just about two miles from here :D Sorry about your cough, Jen, coughing is so tiring, hope you feel better soon. Glad to hear you are on the mend, Loz. Have a good day everyone :)

Good afternoon all, it's a mixed bag weather-wise here today. It's rained most of the morning but the sun's shining now. Billy's still been out though. We'd got ready to go, him and me, as it was dry at the time and then the heavens opened so I took my coat and wellies off and he barked at me in disgust  so once it slowed down we went. We were both very wet when we came back and he really doesn't like getting wet so lay straight down on the kitchen floor for me to get a towel to dry him.

John's just back from a bike ride and is very wet and muddy, I think half of Cannock Chase is on my patio so once he's out of the shower he can hose it down otherwise it'll be trod into the house every time someone comes back in.

Just making Jambalaya for lunch and there's a banana loaf and an apple crumble in the oven so it's been a productive morning in the kitchen.

Have a lovely afternoon Osc - Mr Osc is a star isn't he?!

Glad you're feeling better Loz at last!

It is lashing it down here and has been all morning

We were all supposed to be going to a motorbike thing but we made Mick go on us own as it's so wet. He's just got back absolutely soaked.

S has gone to Dans and L has gone swimming with her friend. We are just about to dismantle L's bed.
