Morning Thursday

Postby jenniren » 08 May 2014, 06:48

Morning all :D

Think it's the kitchen and conservatory today, all this decorating lark is truly exhausting, I'd almost forgotten what this early in the morning looks like

Oh and I've had a croaky sore throat for a couple of days now so should change my name to 'miserable from Wiltshire' Will be popping out for the papers later and that's about all the energy I'm likely to muster for the rest of the day.

Hope you all have a good day :D

jen x

Edited to add, had a lovely text from the CH manager last night. Mother and 5 other residents were taken out for a pub lunch yesterday, so what with that and the birthday cake the chef made for her, she had a lovely day 8-)

Morning all :D :D

Jen it must be killing, I know you like a lie-in ;) xxxx

Well today I will be mostly going to the garden centre - crossed wires yesterday, D had forgotten we were going so I ended up going food shopping instead - but otherwise no plans. Becks has an exam, so will be catching a train into Bristol shortly - she is living at home again now, no point living in Bristol when lectures are over with just for the odd exam ;)

Have a great day everyone :) xxx

Morning all

Kaz so jealous - I'd love a mooch around a garden centre. And best of luck to Becks today; I'm sure she'll do super well
Jen; glad your mom had a lovely day yesterday but not good about you not feeling well. There definitely is a lurgy doing the rounds again if the sniffling and sneezing etc on the trains is anything to go by. Take it easy and nip it in the bud if you can
Saundra; hope you have a lovely relaxed day

Have a lovely day everyone else xx

Morning all. I'm at work today - I didn't want to use the bank holiday Monday as a holiday so have come in today instead. Only working until 12pm though.

Off to have my nails done straight after work and then home to potter until the carpet man arrives. He is coming to give us a quote for levelling the kitchen floor and putting cushion flooring or similar down in the kitchen and bathroom. I'm loving spending this money on things we've been wanting for ages.

And I'm so looking forward to going home to see what our mad neighbour has done now - we are having problems with her over parking and access - I can't even be bothered to go into it but it is making me incredibly stressed.

Good morning friends.

It's a dull rainy morning here, so the next dog-walk will be a short one.

Enjoy your trip to the garden centre, Kaz. That is one of our favourite outings, to one that serves smashing cut-price
lunches for pensioners on certain days, with outside covered eating places so we can take Prince with us.

Hope you poorly ones feel better soon.

Try and keep cool, Debih. XXX

Have a lovely day.

Morning everyone

Gorgeous morning again :D

Glad your mum had a good day Jen and hopethe decorators don't make too much mess.

Debih, we had one like that - Grumpy almost decked the blok once - or twice  :o

Off down to the village later, need to pay a bill, get our losing lotto ticket, book a table for tomorrow night and then people watch at Nizette's. I'll be having ice tea, just for a chnage ;)

I'll count myself in with the poorly ones, I'm really suffering with hayfever and a mossie bite - on my eye lid

Hope you all have a good day and the rain isn't too bad xx

Morning all - just! It's a miserable day here, mist and rain at the same time  I'm very tired today, it seems to be on alternate days because yesterday I didn't feel tired at all until well on into the evening. However, managed to direct Mr. Osc in cleaning the bathroom this morning ;) and now he has gone to collect Michael from playschool. He played pitch and putt with SIL and Michael yesterday and apparently M wanted to know when I was going into hospital again - last Thursday was very much a Grandad and Michael day with extra icecream ;) ;)  Hope you are starting to feel better, Loz, Jen sounds like your Mum had a lovely time, everyone else enjoy your day whatever you have planned.

Afternoon :D
Have left himself by the pool; since lying down is what gives me problems can't do it for long.
Had a lovely time last night, dinner at one of the posh restaurants with an outside table overlooking the river :)
Then drinks with some people we met on Monday, then more back here :)

I got bitten Ton, having sprayed fanatically but didn't spray my fingers to wipe my face
3 times it got me, couldn't bat it away fast enough

Hope you poorlies feel better soon
