Morning Tuesday

Postby jenniren » 06 May 2014, 06:19

Morning all :D

Up extra early  expecting the builder/decorator to arrive in about 15mins time. He says it will be nearer 8ish for the rest of the week thank goodness

I'll be leaving E to supervise a bit later as it's mother's pre op assessment this morning, fingers crossed it goes smoothly without causing her any upset.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning Jen!! I've also been awake for ages, and already done a washer load - I am still on Corfu time I think so two hours ahead LOL

All good wishes to your mum today for her pre-op, and good luck with the decorators  :D 8-)

Back to normal here today - Mick back to work, I'll be tackling the ironing at some point but B and I really have to do a big food shop, we have hardly anything in! She can help me carry it home - you eat it, you shop for it ;) She is pretty much home for good now, just travelling in for the odd day for her exams...... :geek: ;)

Good morning everyone. I'm off soon to catch the train to Malaga where I'm meeting Ally for coffee. :D
Tomorrow is my last full day on holiday, so I'll soon be back in the old routine like you Kaz. Actually this time I'm quite looking forward to getting home. Usually I wish I had another week. Maybe it's getting back to my kittens that's the draw this time.

Morning all - what a fab weekend that was; went by far to quick and hardly any time spent on the pooter :)

Usual work day for me - so could do with having more time off; loved being at home these past few days.

Jen - best of luck for the pre-op appointment for your mom; hope it all goes well x

Paddy and Ally - have fun today!

Kaz - why not do an online shop - then you don't have to carry anything ;)

have a lovely day everyone

I used to do online Ria, almost every week, but these days I prefer to shop myself - anyway it's sunny and a nice walk so I'd rather be out in it ;) Plus it avoids the rest of the ironing - have done some but got bored with it :P

Paddy have a good time in Malaga with Ally  :D xxx

Afternoon all, nice day here although I haven't been outside yet. After breakfast I had my shower and made the bed, so need a little rest now. Today's walk will be to the post office to take out some money, buy the paper and pop to the chemist on our way home, then a friend is calling in after 5pm on her way home from work so I'm looking forward to seeing her. Just made my 6 week check up appointment for 10th June, I'm sure that time will fly by. Good luck to your Mum, Jen, and I bet Ally and Paddy will have lots to catch up on when they get together. Have a good day everyone :)

Afternoon all! It's gorgeous here - warm and sunny! I had jobs to do so took Billy for a quick walk after getting home from the gym but once we were over the common it was so nice that we ended up staying out for over an hour. It's perfect weather!

Since getting home I've had to deal with a non-delivery from Amazon. I ordered three items for Joe's birthday on Thursday. They could've been delivered to home on Saturday just gone but thinking they'd be coming by courier, requiring someone to sit in and wait, I arranged to have them delivered to the small Asda convenience store on the edge of town and they were due to be delivered there last Friday. For some reason the order was split into two and one parcel was delivered on schedule while the other was showing 'delayed'. Then on Saturday the status changed to it having arrived at Yodel's Lichfield depot in the early hours. And there it's stayed ever since. I spoke to Amazon this morning who told me that it had been delivered to the store, so I called Asda who said it hadn't but to call back after 1pm when they would've had today's orders dropped off. Just called and it still isn't there. I've called Amazon back and told them I want a refund so they've done that and re-ordered the game, giving me free next day before 1pm delivery to John's office.

On the positive flipside though, John's taken delivery of my new Converse and Tom's record player this morning. He's decided to start buying vinyl so needed something to play it on so treated himself. We went through the remainder of our vinyl over the weekend. He's taken all of the Bowie and the old punk stuff but I was quite hurt when he snubbed my Duran Duran collection :o

Hope Ally and Paddy are having a good time!

Have a good day all!
