They had a good flight, on time, loved the train and we met them in Tavira.

Recognised them straightaway

Went shopping (the essentials, beer, wine, vodka) and then onto their apartment.

it's really lovely Lovely view of the Ria Formosa and when we left, Bb was heading to the pool

We'll be catching up with them again on Friday - they need a few days to relax and get over meeting Grumpy

Possibly just a slight exaggeration re temperature but at almost 10.30 we're on the balcony and warm
Very tired but so enjoying just being here
Grumpy was not the slightest bit grumpy, they were both lovely and helped us fill the fridge with life's essentials
The apartment really is fab and the view gorgeous

We've had a lovely dinner of chicken and chips and several drinks
Tomorrow we do mostly nothing
Bed is definitely calling
Happily exhausted
