What`s for dinner?

Postby lissie » 25 Apr 2014, 15:24

The weather is awful--so cold and wet so i decided a treat was in order :D
We have got Sea Bass fillets with Jersey Potatoes and the first of the local Asparagus :D
I got it this morning from the farm down the road only a few minutes after it went on
sale for the first time this year. I always ask for the kitchen offer. It is just as fresh but
includes some thinner stalks. I got 3lb for £3 and it looks lovely.

Two stir-fry type ready meals from Iceland, as I have already cleaned the cooker and the cleared the fridge, apart from a little milk for the morning, and have no intention of messing it up ;)

Moussaka - one of our favourites :D

Lissie how lovely to have asparagus just down the road :D
I treated us to some of the first English asparagus from Waitrose last week, and at least it was from the same county (they have a 'local veg' section).
