The new car

Postby Diflower » 24 Apr 2014, 20:54

It's only dawned on me today that it's probably quite a bargain :)
2005 reg and 39,000 miles, less than 4,500 a year. Average is apparently 12,000 a year.
Originally it was bought new, locally, by someone who sadly only had it for 3 months (800 miles) and then either died or had to stop driving (there were clues).
Then bought by a man for his wife, who had it serviced and Mot'd every year and that's about it apart from a complete set of new tyres :)

I drove it today for the first time and was very happy, you sit nice and high which I was used to before (my lovely Clio, that I sold to buy the car that just fell apart).
It's all much more 'modern' than the old car, which is funny since it was made the same year, with an electronic display, computer-trip thing and all sorts. We're both still adjusting to seeing the speed as a number rather than on a dial :D

Ooh, what is it Di? I'd like a classic American muscle car, but in my dreams!

Nothing quite so exciting I'm afraid Cromwell, purely practical :D
We did follow a Lamborghini very nearly all the way home though ;)
