We had our massive clutter clear-out three years age when we down-sized prior
to moving into our 'retirement apartment'. I don't think we have missed anything.

We kept all items relating to our various hobbies, and those that we particularly
liked because they had special memories attached to them.

We don't gather clutter now as we just have nowhere to keep it.

It is a fact that if you have space to spare you will find something to fill it.

I don't have a lot of things about, unlike at our old house. We had a HUGE clear out when we moved, another after we'd unpacked all of the necessities and another a year later. The loft at our old house was filled to bursting point but we've not put anything in the one here. All that we have is boxed up and put on racking along the back wall and one half of a side wall in the garage. There's stuff in the units we have in here but it's all quite well organised, and I'm a lot more ruthless now than I used to be.

Well we have just a few who admit to hoarding. Not easy to live with as are they? ;)
