Morning all.

Work with a morning full of meetings for me.

I'm off to a friends house tonight to find out from her exactly what the witches have been saying about me. I've risen above it all these months until yesterday when it got back to me via a very reliable source that a 'friend' who lives in the village but has no connection to the school at all said a couple of quite nasty things about me. It's really upset me - I've hardly slept.

The friend I'm seeing tonight still has a child at school and often has coffee with the little gaggle of witches so she will know exactly what it is that I have supposedly done. And I know she'll be completely honest with me.

I lay in bed thinking about it last night - to my knowledge I'm the fourth person in the village that the two ring leader witches have taken a dislike to and I remember the lies and hate campaigns they ran against the other three victims.

I'm hoping tonight to find out what nastiness they have been spreading to decide whether or not to tackle them - unlikely as I know it'll give them something to dine out on for months. I will be asking the other friend what exactly I've done to her to deserve her snide comments though when we go out in a group on Saturday night.

Morning all - a gorgeous sunny start to the day today.

Loz - hope you feel better and can get to the meeting tomorrow.

Debih - I am so sorry that you're being victimised like that. I just don't understand why people think bullying is OK, because that's basically what it is; just being done by adults. Good luck with the chat with your friend this evening and I really hope that you get to the bottom of this all so it stops and you're left alone (but I'm putting my bet on jealousy - you've obviously got / done / achieved something they haven't). But you're 1000% a better person than them - just always remember that (((hug))) x

Kaz - I also want to be doing holiday ironing; I'd be doing it all with a happy huge smile on my face.

Di - well done on the driving; I can imagine how good you must have felt after the drive. A small thing for many; but such a big thing for you x And enjoy the new car; I probably missed the thread, what are you getting?

Ally - as always; enjoy the sunshine (as a matter of interest - what is the coldest it usually gets there in the winter?)

have a fab day everyone x

I've tried so hard to rise above it and not let it bother me too much and, up until yesterday it hasn't really.

I know that things have gone on in the village that 12 months ago I would have gone to - now I'm not even invited. In one way I don't care - if these people are so stupid that they think I have so much power over the school and other governors then thats their fault.

But now I'm wondering if they are saying more than I think they are saying (that I single handedly enforced the school uniform code and wrote a nasty letter to one of them after they verbally attacked a member of staff) as now comments are being made by people who's children left the school many years ago!

I thought at least if I know what they are saying that might help. I doubt it, but it might. And I will get the opportunity to defend myself with the friend I am seeing tonight!

Its really bugging me - I can't stop thinking about it as its getting me down so much. :(
