this will be fun :) and agree Kaz, depending on date and timing some people may want to stay over the night.

I agree - I wouldn't think of doing it. But there are plenty of places to parkrk in the suburbs, and the bus services
into town are fantastic - every few minutes on some cases.

The problem with that Aggers would be going back to the parking place at night. I wouldn't want to do that on my own.
I have been to a Meet in Birmingham some years ago and went on the train and stayed over. Travelling back on the Sunday was awful though - terribly slow and lots of hold ups. Somehow I don't think I will be getting there, but wish everybody well for a lovely successful Meet.

I'm thinking somewhere light and airy, wooden floors, nice big tables, good food and cocktails.

I shall refrain from suggesting my usual dark, dingy, cider quaffing loud rock music venue.

The dancing girl..well, I can oblige!

 I was thinking of somewhere with big tables, good food etc...also, I did think of The Old Joint Stock on Temple Row but it gets a bit busy in there at times.

Oh I like it in there Jo..and it's very central.

I think once we decide where we're going we should book some tables and hijack a chunk of the pub for us VVers.

Hmmmmm too noisy and people can't talk - just a thought ;) We need somewhere where we can be for a few hours without needing to move on for other customers..............IMO that is :)

I don't think it will be too noisy Kaz as it'll be daytime. :)

Also..we can reserve an area for us.

Once I'm sat down I'm budging nowhere for no one!

There are lots of nice places in Brum..we'll get somewhere and have a blast. :D :D

My sentiments to a T. 8-)

Somewhere with a nice ambience.

I have more than my fair share of 'shouty' pubs living over here in the land of non stop talking so I need a 'hear and be heard' place.

I'm getting carried away here...I was just putting some ironing away and have a quick lookee in my wardrobes thinking..mmm, what shall I wear for the meet!
