Thanks for the good wishes, we're back and it's all fine :D
Such a huge relief, they'd warned us the tears might not be stable after the cataract op but they're all still fixed, all 5 of them :)
He can organise getting new glasses now :)

Good luck Saundra, and :) hope it's gone ok for L Debih :)

Kaz we haven't had a proper holiday for 5 years so neither of us have much but I'll be fine now with a couple more tops I think, I need to keep the money for the horribly expensive swimsuit, the old one's definitely past it.

Mick and L have just called in to see me at work. They were at the dentist for an hour. Mick said the hardest part was actually getting her in the chair. L sad the worst part was having the injection.

She has another small filling to have done. The lady dentist at the clinic is moving to a clinic about 10 miles away so she is going to make an appointment for her to go there so she can see her again.

:D Excellent news!! :D

Back to work in the rain for me today - Jan is off (her day off is Monday so she is taking that in lieu, so I am working solo  ) but I only have today and tomorrow and then I'm on holiday! :D :D :D :D :D We go to Grasmere on Saturday - all I need is some dry/sunny weather - some vibes for that would be much welcome 8-) One boss is also off next week - he and his wife will be in Ambleside - about 4 miles from us!! HopeIdon'tbumpintothem....

We were at my brother's yesterday - for Easter and to celebrate his 70th birthday which was last Saturday (12th) but they were in Paris as a special treat. They are both looking really well - more than can be said for my poor sister's H, he really does look like an old man these days :( We invited my brother and his wife to come across and stay with us for a night, perhaps do a walk together - and they said that would be great! :D :D Looking forward to that already - they are the fittest senior citizens I have ever met :D 8-)

Hugs for all and apologies for not being here much recently, RL does have a way of interrupting things at times

Good afternoon.
A dull day. It has rained this morning.
Had a quiet day as we are going dancing this evening.

Evening all! I was in bed by 9.30pm last night as I was so very tired and feeling unwell. Slept pretty well, only woke a couple of times, until 8.15 this morning. I still have the sinus infection although it seems to be veering more towards a heavy cold now, lots of sneezing. I felt fairly grotty after breakfast, but knew I needed to do lots today, so I took two Anadin and that seemed to do the trick. Still doing the steam inhaling too. I did manage to do quite a lot of stuff and might go to bed early again tonight to see if I can keep on top of this cold. Hope everyone has had a good day :)
